The “Gordon Ridout” Trophy
The Gordon Ridout Trophy was donated to St Albans (Clarence Park) Bowls Club by Morag Riduot and family in 1996 was originally established as a 6-rink Club competition. This was changed in 2012 to St Albans v SADBA but was subsequently amended further to an SADBA inter-Club competition. Each Member Club (up to a maximum of 12) is invited to submit a team of 4 players to enter a single game of 21 ends. Opposing teams are drawn on the day and the trophy awarded to the team with the highest shot difference.
