Bowlers are now being invited to put their names down if they wish to be considered for selection in the summer 2020 Outdoor matches.
Delegates have been issued with Availability sheets for sharing among Club members and to put on Club Notice Boards to collate names for each match. These are then submitted to Brian Burfoot by the due date for each match.
In addition there is a personal form that bowlers should complete and return direct. This enables bowlers to plan for the season and for the District to track demand in advance of Delegates submitting Club names for each match. All bowlers are encouraged to complete this and return it to Brian Burfoot. The personal form with details of all matches is here: SADBA-Outdoor-Fixtures-2020-Individual-Application-Form
Please note that bowling activities have now been suspended which is expected to impact the programme at least in the early part of the season. See post here. Nonetheless you are encouraged to submit your details so we can react in a timely manner when bowling is again possible.

Following on from the success of our visit to the Whitewebb’s Museum of Transport, the President invites all bowlers, family and friends to a visit to the amazing St Alban’s Organ Theatre hidden away in Camp road near the centre of St Albans. The theatre houses Belgian dance organs, musical boxes, self playing pianos and two theatre organs most of which will be demonstrated by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers who run the museum.
The visit is on Wednesday 4th December and at only £6 a head it is a bargain.. It is not to be missed but pre-booking is essential.
Would you wish to join the visit? If so full details can be downloaded here.
