ANNUAL TRIPLES GALA 2022

SADBA CHARITY TRIPLES GALA 2022

We are pleased to announce the Annual Triples Gala, bowling for the coveted Strofton Trophy, will be held on Tuesday 6th September at North Mymms Bowls Club.    The Gala is in support of the President’s charity, Dementia UK.

Entries may be teams of Men, Ladies or Mixed and are welcome from any bowlers from the SADBA Clubs.  There are cash prizes on £105, £60 and £30 and a grand raffle.

Full details of  food arrangements, how to enter and payment details can be found in the poster with entry form you can download from here.  All entries must be received by 31 July..

INDOOR MATCHES 2021/2022

INDOOR MATCHES 2021/22 SELECTION & RESULTS

Congratulations to Harpenden for winning the President’s Invitation Match  held on Sunday 27th March at Hatfield IBC.    Michael Woodhams has done a match report which can be found here.  For the full results and SADBA team details see here the Result Report from our Match Secretary, Ian Hulley.

The annual Indoor match of SADBA versus our sister organisation SADLBA took place on Saturday 26th March at Harpenden IBC.   As usual a lovely, friendly and compettitive match which this year fell in SADBA’s favour.  click her to see the Match Report.

The 1st Indoor Match of 2022 took place on Sunday 27th February against Herts IBC at their Indoor Club in Watford.  A close fought match with a win for the District secured by a strong top rink.  Click here  for the result and Match Report.

Our 3rd match of the indoor Season was against Glebelands IBC at Finchley on Saturday 11th December and our 2nd success of the winter season.    Click here for the full result and Match Report

AGM and PRESIDENT’S INVITATION POSTPONEMENT

AGM AND PRESIDENT’S INVITATION MATCH POSTPONED

With the pandemic in mind, the Officers have decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the President’s Invitation Indoor Match.   Both were scheduled for January 2022.   It is hoped to reschedule them before the start of the Outdoor Season.

All Clubs, through Delegates and Secretaries, have been informed by Newsletter from the SADBA Secretary, Michael Woodhams.  This gives more infomation and is available for download here.
