STROFTON SHIELD CHARITY GALA 2021: PICTURES
The Annual Charity Gala to support the Presidents Charity, Dementia UK, was held at North Mymms on 9th September. It as an excellent day of fun and excitement before the winners “The 3 Amigos”, Mick Brennan, Brian Vince and Barry Woodman took the trophy for Potters Bar. This is the second time Potters Bar have won this competition.

The Indoor Bowls season is almost upon us and SADBA has a programme of matches. Go to the MATCHES tab to see the full list.
Details of matches and calling notices for names have been sent to Delegates to collate Club nominations and return details to Brian Burfoot, the SADBA Match Secretary. Bowlers who wish to be considered for selection may also sent their names direct to Brian Burfoot if they so wish using the form(s) available here for download:

FINALS ARRANGMENTS 2021
2021 FINALS
The SADBA League and Competition Finals matches took place at North Mymms Bowls Club, with the Bob Vise Trophy on the 30th August, Jones Cup on the 10th September and the main Finals Day for the remaining team and individual competitions on Saturday 11th September.
The Finals Day had excellent bowling and great sportsmanship. It was a long day as several players and teams were in a number of competitions. We had a good number of spectators, great support in organisation and hospitality from North Mymms members and it stayed dry! All in all a day to remember.

Congratulation to Welwyn and District for winning the Jones Cup after a thrilling match against Potters Bar on Friday 10th September. The match was held at North Mymms.
